Chloe had a very unexpected but wonderful start to her 30th birthday! Much to her surprise, her soon to be husband had planned a beautiful and intimate proposal. “My children were wearing Marry Daddy tops! It was just the four of us and it was perfect to me.”
Chloe’s big day was the definition of ‘White Wedding.’ “I didn’t have inspiration as such, I just knew I wanted a very white wedding, from my flowers to the bridesmaids dresses was simple but so beautiful, less is more.” The true beauty of minimalism and simplicity.
When going for her dress appointment, Chloe had the real life experience of ‘don’t judge a dress by the hanger’! “My dress to be honest, I didn’t like it on the hanger, although the colour and type of material was what I was looking for, but when I tried it on I just knew it was the one.”
“You will get that feeling and when you do go with it, if you try on a dress and don’t want to take it off you know that’s the one!The back of my dress was my absolute favourite and also I love how white my dress was.!” Very fitting with the theme of the day.
“I wanted my makeup to be as natural as possible as I love my skin to be glowing and didn’t want to be caked in makeup as that’s not my usual look, and wanted to feel me. My makeup artist certainly achieved that. My hair was sleek with a low bun which I thought suited the style of my dress.”
“My venue was the only venue I viewed I knew I wanted it before even going it’s simple stunning and a very blank canvas to really make it your own!”
Chloe’s piece of advice for future brides would be “try and get a good nights sleep, I did my usual skin care routine whitened my teeth, and was asleep by 9.30.”
“My husband surprised me with singing waiters I had absolutely no clue, it was such a surreal moment during our wedding breakfast we had people on chairs tables the whole room was just alive it was a Moment I’ll never forget.”
A magical touch that Chloe and her husband added to their dat was violinist. “Violinists playing as you walk down the aisle is just so Beautiful.” A truly romantic way to capture and be in the moment
“Other than actually getting married, one of my absolute favourite parts of the wedding was the getting ready part, I loved it was so stress free and I had the best bridal team.” This is great example for future brides, not to rush any part of the wedding experience, it happens once! One time only, relax, take it in and enjoy yourself.
“I don’t think I would change anything, the only think I wouldn’t recommend is a DIY champagne tower, was literally insta vs reality however my husband saved it by then spraying everyone with champagne so we got away with it and gave everyone a giggle!” Another wonderful example of, if things don’t go to plan, don’t worry! Things can go perfectly wring, leaving you with wonderful memories, like Chloe.
“I love, well actually obsessed with looking back at my photos I have them all round my house to remind me daily of the most amazing day we had. I would have preferred to of been a typical picture perfect bride in all my photos some of my hair had fallen out in some of the pictures but to me I was just a bride that enjoyed and loved every single second of my day, I did not stop dancing and I let my hair down literally!” Beautiful in the best way! The most beautiful of all brides is a happy one.
