Accessories

2023 saw a huge increase in brides looking for statement hair accessories, such as large bows and beautifully intricate pearl hair clips. We are obsessing over our in store collection from the Bobby Pin featuring the most show stopping hair bands you’ve ever seen. Veils are always popular but we see more and more brides opt for statement veils, often made to match the lace from their dress for a real high-impact look. These can be made in virtually any length, however the full cathedral length is extremely popular with brides looking for that extra drama for their big reveal! We are also excited to see the rise of the glove in 2024, these have started to become requested more and more during our styling appointments and we are excited to get more in store for the beginning of the year! Long silky opera gloves which look elegant with our huge range of satin wedding dresses are one of the many looks that can be created with gloves. 

Statement Sleeves

We definitely feel that the statement sleeve is a trend that is hear to stay! This is a great shortcut for making your dress unique to you. Add a detachable sleeve to completely transform your day time look, remove the sleeves and veil in the evening and you have a 2 looks in one dress! Choose a minimal style dress and add a big puff statement sleeve, alternatively have your sleeves made with matching lace from your dress for a full maximalist look! The options are endless and really allow you to get as creative as you like! The best thing about having detachable sleeves is that you aren’t committed to wearing them for the whole day!

The Little White Dress 

In 2023 short wedding dresses hit the scene in a big way, with celebrities such as Kortney Kardashian, Sofia Richie and Sophie Habboo styling gorgeous mini dresses for their big days. Little white dresses are perfect for brides hoping to do a second look for their evening reception or for brides who want to keep their civil ceremony low-key. We are lucky enough to have in store some convertible weddings dresses by Martina Liana. These are a short main dress featuring a matching full overskirt that can be detached to reveal the mini dress underneath!
